Each day is one day closer to the return of Jesus. Until Jesus returns, how are we to live? Jesus answered this question in the Olivet Discourse in Mark 13:14-23. Jesus instructs the disciples on how they ought to live before the temple’s destruction and informs all followers how to live until he returns. From these verses we can learn five things about living as followers of Christ while we await his return. First, followers of Christ are to flee from false messiahs.
