Wanted - 14" laptop for around £150
My elderly cousins are in need of a new laptop as their current one is, basically, terrible. 4gigs of soldered RAM and a 2 core CPU and it's struggling with Windows 10. I owe them so much for supporting me in 2024 so I'm buying them a laptop. I could push the budget a little further if needs be but they don't want anything expensive because they'll just end up worrying about it (even though they live in very very rural East-Midlands where crime is rare).
iFixit cuts ties with Samsung due to poor ability repair their phones
#1 iFixit has terminated their repair agreement with Samsung after determining that their phones are too glued together to offer realistic repair guidance to end users. This is a shame because it mirrors Apples poor ability to repair their phones and using glue to create their phones. It was just too much to try and maintain.
what happened to GAME
#10 GAME here is now using pretty much 75% of the store for toys and board games. View attachment 1917106 They have little choice if they want to keep the stores open. I think new game distribution on physical media is already in life support and expect both Sony and Microsoft will use sales figures to justify the next consoles not including a bluray/physical media drive as standard. At best it will be an expensive accessory.
For Sale - HP Microserver N54L NAS
blue max Distinguished Member #1 The unit is in fantastic condition and fully boxed with all the drive screws, service tool and the door key. As good as the day I bought it new, although with a little dust in the crevices. Ideally, collection would be preferred for the best deal. Note: this was advertised as faulty, but I just hadn't pushed the cable in fully! Location North London N10 Price and currency £60 Payment method Cash on collection please Receipt included?
What’s the most ridiculous TV show you have seen?
#1 Plot wise, what’s the most ridiculous show you have watched that made you roll your eyes? Currently mine is Hijack with Idris Elba and Ozark is another show that really made me wonder if the script writers thought the audience was stupid. What’s yours?
PayPal Community
Hi all I was paid by a person who used paying a business instead of using paying friends and family. I added tracking information from Parcelforce as requested by PayPal and the item is confirmed as delivered but the funds are still being withheld. I’ve updated the parcel status and readded the tracking information but that doesn’t help. Any suggestions? THanks ... View more
