It means you should be honest and truthful as a news reporter but compelling and clear when writing in other rolls.

I loved to write.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Be honest. Don't write from your personal political perspective, write to inform your audience and that means presenting both sides.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
The gym or working out somewhere.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That we're doing biased journalism. Untrue. We're actually combatting bias in journalism.
