What's your favorite social network?
That really depends on what I'm networking for. Twitter is my favorite for news, but Facebook seems better for sharing work.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
No, I came to writing much, much later than high school. I did write one story for my college paper, on jury nullification.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
If you're just starting on a career path in journalism, be certain this is something you cannot imagine not doing. There's little $.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Any time. I may not get back within an hour, but I pretty much live on email.
What's your favorite drink?
I am partial to the Negroni.
