Misstress Barbara aka Barbara Bonfiglio is an iconic Italian DJ whose techno legacy extends back to the ‘90s. During a career that’s lasted over two decades, she has charted numerous times inside DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll and headlined some of the biggest festivals and large-scale events the world has to offer.
Harvey McKay follows up on the release of his second studio long-player, ‘Anatomy Of A Drum Machine’, with a new single. ‘On The Drum’ gets a release on Dense & Pika’s Kneaded Pains imprint continuing the strong ties between McKay and the label. Panel beating kicks and rasping acid bubbles characterise the title track’s minimalistic charms, as McKay ramps up the intensity midway with coarse hats and a monotone vocal.
