Jonathan Lambert’s Biography

I am an evolutionary biologist turned science journalist, eager to make sense of how science intersects with society. In April 2023 I joined The Messenger — a news startup launching in May 2023 — after it acquired Grid, where I covered public health. Before that, I was a staff writer at Science News covering biology. My work has appeared in Quanta Magazine, NPR, Nature News, Scientific American and Wired.
