As Founder and Managing Director of Advocate Wealth, he leads a boutique advisory firm devoted to delivering comprehensive private wealth solutions. The firm integrates financial planning, investment selection and oversight, estate coordination, tax-sensitive strategies, succession and exit planning, financial heir development, and family office services. Graduating with honors and earning a Bachelor of Science degree, he built a solid academic foundation for his future endeavors. He later pursued an MBA at the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester, sharpening his financial acumen and strategic perspective.

Jonathan began his professional career at Citigroup, gaining firsthand exposure to the scale and sophistication of global financial markets. He was responsible for managing trading relationships with more than 60 institutional clients whose combined assets exceeded $1 trillion. This role demanded precision, analytical rigor, and disciplined risk management. The experience strengthened his understanding of complex asset structures and reinforced his commitment to delivering thoughtful and informed guidance.

Entrepreneurial Focus and Industry Recognition

In 2014, Amoia advanced his client-centric vision by becoming Partner and Managing Director at Sandhill. There, he continued to craft tailored strategies for entrepreneurial families navigating liquidity events and long-term wealth transitions. He earned the Certified Private Wealth Advisor designation through the Yale School of Management and the Certified Exit Planning Advisor designation from the Exit Planning Institute, reinforcing his expertise in advanced planning strategies.
