What's your favorite social network?
IG b/c I love the creative energy. I'm active on FB, too, but I use it mostly to stay connected to my local community.
Why did you become a journalist?
I took a journalism class in high school and then wrote for my college paper for four years. I fell into it. I love telling people’s stories
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I’m most proud of writing my various profile pieces, all of which can be found in my portfolio and on my website, www.jonathanpappalardo.com
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Always remain curious about the world around you.
When's the best time to pitch you?
The best time to pitch me is in the morning to mid-afternoon, but I welcome pitches at any time.
What's your favorite drink?
I visit Napa Valley 2x a year, so of course I love wine - Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Syrah - but I’m a sucker for a good margarita.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
When I’m not at a computer, I’m typically out walking my dog. If not, I’m either enjoying a great meal or taking in a Broadway show.
