In this study, we evaluated the influence of visual stimulation on tactile thresholds measured using the active von Frey filament test. Visual stimulation significantly increased AvF values relative to the blindfolded condition, indicating that visual input increases measured light-touch thresholds. This effect was observed consistently across fingers and hands and was accompanied by a reduction in asymmetry between dominant and non-dominant hands.
