What was your first job as a journalist?

Associate Editor at Hearst Magazines.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes.

How is social media changing news?

I think speed, keywords, and shareability matter. As always, accuracy and relevance take precedence.

Who's your favorite fictional journalist?

Any Film Noir reporter.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

Jourmalists report on events, informing the public. The First Ammendment and freedom of information are important for democracy.

Write.

Bathroom spray.
