Reporter for Arts pages in a now disappeared newspaper named El Nacional

Be in places where meaningful things happen, being the voice of the citizens

Iphone, video (Imovie), word processor, Power Point, Excel, photoshop

Twitter and Facebook

Why did you become a journalist?

I always liked to write. I started, without a formal education, doing in it about music. Later, I joined a newspaper

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

No

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

Mexico's government wanted to give the church and historic building. We rang the alarm and they backed down

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Read a lot

What's the worst pitch you ever got?

A printing house representative wanted me to interview Carl Bernstein, who supposedly was coming to Mexico but handed me photocopies

What's your favorite drink?

Beer

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Running, watching films, reading
