Joseph Draper’s Biography
Joseph Draper is a sports broadcaster and multimedia journalist who works on both sides of the camera, from play-by-play in the booth to editing in the bay. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 2026 with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Sport Studies, completing his degree at the University Park campus in State College, Pennsylvania, as part of Penn State's John Curley Center for Sports Journalism.
Joseph started early, covering high school athletics in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley for D11Sports.com before calling basketball for Penn State Lehigh Valley. He went on to call championship games and co-host a weekly podcast for the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference, and he sharpened his reporting and production work with After The Whistle PSU. He also gained national production experience with Fox Sports during Big Noon Kickoff at Penn State.
