This landmark event celebrated the power and artistry of photography, featuring a stunning display of images drawn from Nation Media Group’s vast archive of 25 million photographs. The festival included engaging exhibitions, insightful workshops, and competitive photography contests, culminating in the recognition of exceptional photographers across various categories. A distinguished panel of judges, including renowned photojournalists Azim Sayyid of Associated Press and Thomas Mukoya of Reuters, reviewed over 300 entries, showcasing the remarkable creativity and talent of Kenyan photographers. Beyond honoring individual achievements, the awards underscored the vital role of photography in storytelling and preserving cultural heritage.
