What was your first job as a journalist?
Working on a B2B publication about the energy transformation industry. It went bust within months of me joining, promise it wasn't me!
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes, my grandfather was a writer. Or at least, my grandmother wrote for him. He could barely spell his name!
How is social media changing news?
It's all in the first three sentences - social media users are blasted with a constant live feed.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Probably Haruki Murakami. Norweigan Wood altered my brain chemistry.

TikTok, I'm ashamed to say. There are just so many good cats out there.
Why did you become a journalist?
I wrote in to Channel 4 about a report I felt was biased. I was brought on for a debate, and interviewed by Jon Snow, who suggested it to me!
What's your favorite drink?
My favourite tea cold brewed in lemonade... yum
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
At a console!
