Why did you become a journalist?
I discovered I had a passion for venturing out into the world, witnessing major events and reporting what I find.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I was not a member of the newspaper staff, but I wrote two sports articles as a freelancer.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
My coverage of Afghan asylum seekers who served as interpreters for NATO troops in Afghanistan
What's the best pitch you ever got?
I'm from Afghanistan, but I speak Lithuanian and want to go to Lithuania.
