Below are some highlights, insights, and tips I learned from my 5 days in Barcelona, Spain. As soon as I landed, I could immediately tell how friendly and energetic the city is. Wherever I walked, both tourists and locals were always having a great time. I really enjoyed spending the afternoons outside a café in the city’s center snacking on tapas and having ‘Tinto de verano’ – a very popular summer drink in Spain made from red wine, soda, and fresh fruit. Park Güell is a must.
