Juju is a Commercial Bid Manager at TaskUs, where he plays a key role in supporting the Global Client Organization in securing new clients and creating job opportunities. In addition to his corporate career, he is pursuing his law degree at Arellano University’s School of Law.
Before transitioning into the corporate and legal spheres, Juju had a distinguished career in media. A two-time medalist at both the New York Festivals (NYF) TV & Film Awards and the US International Film & Video Festivals (USIFVF), he spent eight years producing and writing stories for TV, online, and print.
He began his broadcast career in 2015 as a researcher for various TV shows, eventually becoming a segment producer for Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS), the Philippines’ highest-rated news magazine show, in 2017. His documentary “Salay” for KMJS earned the Bronze World Medal at the 2019 NYF TV & Film Awards and the Silver Screen Award at the 2019 USIFVF. Another documentary he produced, “Gutom” for Reel Time, won the Silver World Medal at the 2018 NYF TV & Film Awards and the Creative Excellence Award at the 2018 USIFVF.
In 2020, he joined CNN Philippines as a writer and producer, creating documentaries and on-air content for the network and its partners. In May 2021, he transitioned from television to corporate strategy, bringing his storytelling expertise into the world of business development.
Beyond his professional roles, Juju has contributed long-form reports, news features, and op-ed articles to publications such as Yahoo, Rappler, GMA News Online, CNN Philippines, Philippine Daily Inquirer, and the Philippine editions of FHM and Entrepreneur magazines.
His interests span media studies, disinformation, film photography, geography, travel, capital cities, borders, coffee, art toys, and Baybayin. He is also a proud cat dad to Helga, Elio, and Gloria.
