Jules Roscoe’s Biography

I’m an independent journalist based in Columbus, OH. I approach journalism as a public service. Everyone deserves free, reliable access to information about the world around them, so they can make their own informed decisions. It’s my job to get them that information.

I cover technology and politics on a national level; I’ve previously written for WIRED, 404 Media, and VICE News. I also cover local news for some of the cities I call or have called home. For The Boston Guardian, in Boston, MA, I cover and investigate city politics and community events; for Matter News, in Columbus, OH, I write the monthly Local Politics column and conduct long-form investigations into city government.
