Justin Mason

Justin Mason is a former reporter at NYU's The Click, contributor to Industrial Worker and Seattle Worker, editor of the Incarcerated Workers Organizing Committee (IWOC) newsletter, and Treasurer of the IWW Freelance Journalists Union (NYC IUB 450). By turns a political junkie, a rabid bibliophile, and a climate and labor activist, Mason holds an MA in American Journalism and a BS in Political Science. He lives in the Pacific Northwest, where he writes and pitches stories on labor, climate, war, inequality, democracy, criminal justice and media criticism to independent outlets. A proud muckraker, Mason believes that journalism is first and foremost a means to hold power to account.
