Tulane Institutional Review Board approved this study and waived informed consent because deidentified data were used. The Arizona Corporation Commission does not have the constitutional authority to increase rates to pay for projects like deforestation and electric vehicle subsidies. The authority to levy taxes and appropriate funds rests with the state Legislature. When the commission exceeds its constitutional authority, utility bills go up.

The new McLean Foundation Community Center currently under construction has property for us to use for a community pool. There are grant opportunities available to finance a community pool. The closest public pool is in Arcata, more than 25 miles from Fortuna.
