With the government aggressively pursuing the establishment of Kadiwa centers around the country, AGRI Party-list Rep. Wilbert T. Lee on Sunday said the initial success of the Department of Agriculture (DA) program is a “proof of concept” that should convince House leaders to prioritize the passage of a measure that will institutionalize the agribusiness and marketing initiative intended to help link local farmers and fishers directly to consumers.
AGRI Party-list Rep. Wilbert T. Lee backed Pres. Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.’s plan to put up permanent Kadiwa stores across the country. “Suportado natin ang planong gawing permanente ang Kadiwa. In fact, we have been calling for the institutionalization of the program and filed a bill towards this end because it presents a win-win scenario for all concerned. Winner ang magsasaka, winner ang mamimili, Winner Tayo Lahat,” Lee said.
