Magnetic field-induced spin-related effects promote efficient low-temperature transfer hydrogenation over carbon-encapsulated catalysts
Abstract Thermocatalysis, the mainstream approach relative to photocatalysis and electrocatalysis, drives reactions by employing catalysts to lower activation energies with thermal energy. However, thermocatalysis presents issues of inefficient heat transfer and limited reaction performance. Magnetic induction heating (MIH) is a promising thermocatalytic strategy.
Muscle macrophage regenerative response after squalene-adjuvanted influenza vaccination is associated with type II-skewed response and is reduced with age
Abstract Squalene-based adjuvants like MF59 and AddaVax induce transient muscle injury, but their downstream mechanisms remain unclear. We show that intramuscular injection of a quadrivalent inactivated influenza vaccine (QIV) with AddaVax triggers a muscle regenerative-like immune response, increasing CX3CR1⁺Ly6C⁺ macrophages in muscle and draining lymph nodes within four days.

Critic Learning-Based Safe Optimal Control for Nonlinear Systems with Asymmetric Input Constraints and Unmatched Disturbances
1. Introduction Safety-critical systems are those that, in case of accidents or failures, can result in significant consequences, including but not limited to injuries, loss of life, environmental harm, or financial losses. The emergence of safety-critical systems like unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) [1,2,3] and robots [4] has led to an increased focus on safety control design within the field of control systems [5,6].
Seroconversion of a city: Longitudinal monitoring of SARS-CoV-2 seroprevalence in New York City
Abstract By conducting a retrospective, cross-sectional analysis of SARS-CoV-2 seroprevalence in a sentinel group (enriched for SARS-CoV-2 infections) and a screening group (representative of the general population) using >5,000 plasma samples from patients at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City (NYC), we identified seropositive samples as early as in the week ending February 23, 2020.
SARS‐CoV‐2 Seroconversion in Humans: A Detailed Protocol for a Serological Assay, Antigen Production, and Test Setup
Abstract In late 2019, cases of atypical pneumonia were detected in China. The etiological agent was quickly identified as a betacoronavirus (named SARS‐CoV‐2), which has since caused a pandemic. Several methods allowing for the specific detection of viral nucleic acids have been established, but these only allow detection of the virus during a short period of time, generally during acute infection.
