Author Correction: Ternary self-assembled molecular contact for ambient-processed perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells
Correction to: Nature Photonics https://doi.org/10.1038/s41566-026-01925-z, published online 1 June 2026. In the version of the article initially published, Nan Sun’s name appeared incorrectly (as Sun Nan) and has now been amended in the HTML and PDF versions of the article. About this article Kim, G., Prasetio, A., Noh, Y.I. et al. Author Correction: Ternary self-assembled molecular contact for ambient-processed perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells. Nat. Photon. Ternary self-assembled molecular contact for ambient-processed perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells
Abstract Self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) represent an effective strategy for the development of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). High-performance PSCs are typically fabricated in an inert atmosphere because ambient moisture disrupts phosphonic-acid SAMs on transparent conductive oxides, leading to surface inhomogeneity and direct exposure of the transparent conductive oxide. However, this dependence on glovebox fabrication constrains scalability and cost-effective manufacturing.
Performance improvements through gradient layers in transparent passivating contact solar cells
Keywords transparent passivating contacts gradient layers hot wire chemical vapor depositions silicon carbides fill factors open-circuit voltages Introduction Enhancing their power conversion efficiency (η) is a crucial step in reducing the levelized cost of electricity for solar cells and modules.1 The focus of current developments is to further improve existing and established solar cell structures, improving their optical and electrical properties to further enhance their power conversion...
Light soaking of silicon heterojunction solar cells by applying high-intensity line-shaped laser scans
Keywords light soaking silicon heterojunction amorphous silicon laser hydrogen effusion passivation solar cells illuminated annealing light and elevated temperature process LETP Introduction Solar cells are an essential component of our current energy supply.
Restoring sputter damage by light soaking in silicon carbide-based transparent passivating contact solar cells
Keywords transparent passivating contact sputter damage thermal annealing light soaking Introduction The transparent passivating contact (TPC) concept offers an effective solution for reducing parasitic absorption stemming in hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) on the front side of silicon heterojunction (SHJ) solar cells.
Origin of Sputter Damage during Transparent Conductive Oxide Deposition for Semitransparent Perovskite Solar Cells
Origin of Sputter Damage during Transparent Conductive Oxide Deposition for Semitransparent Perovskite Solar Cells Transparent conductive oxides (TCOs) have been widely used as transparent electrodes in numerous optoelectronic devices including perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells. A significant concern regarding the application of TCOs is the sputter-induced damage to the underlying films.
Life Cycle Global Warming Impact of Long-Distance Liquid Hydrogen Transport from Africa to Germany
1. Introduction Apart from the existing consumption of hydrogen in the refining of oil and ammonia production, there will be a significant increase in demand for hydrogen as a transportation fuel for transport, electricity generation, storage, and heating in the coming decades [1]. The projected hydrogen demand in Germany for 2045 is estimated to be between 226 and 600 TWh [2].
Nitrogen fixation on metal-free SiC(111) polar surfaces
Nitrogen fixation on metal-free SiC(111) polar surfaces Boron atom as an electron “acceptation-donation” center induced nitrogen fixation has recently been reported in both molecular (Science 2018, 359, 896) and heterogeneous catalysis (JACS 2018, 140, 14161 & JACS 2019, 141, 2884). In this work, we reported an alternatively economic metal-free SiC as an excellent nitrogen fixation catalyst.
