Kalena O'Connell’s Biography
Kalena O’Connell is a student journalist and editor at The University of Portland. She currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief at The Beacon, where she oversees all published content and coaches reporters, editors and photographers. Kalena's work can be found in Hawaii Business Magazine and multiple papers across Oregon with Carpenter Media Group. She is expected to graduate in May 2027.
