Highly Exfoliated Ti3C2Tx MXene Nanosheets Atomically Doped with Cu for Efficient Electrochemical CO2 Reduction: An Experimental and Theoretical Study
Highly Exfoliated Ti3C2Tx MXene Nanosheets Atomically Doped with Cu for Efficient Electrochemical CO2 Reduction: An Experimental and Theoretical Study Ti3C2Tx MXene nanostructures have garnered attention for various catalytic applications due to their built-in electronic properties. Herein, we rationally design highly exfoliated two-dimensional Ti3C2Tx nanosheets (Tx= O, OH, and F) doped with Cu (denoted as Cu/Ti3C2Tx) for electrochemical CO2 reduction reaction (CO2RR).
Titanium Carbide (Ti3C2Tx) MXene Ornamented with Pallidum Nanoparticles for Electrochemical CO Oxidation
Abstract Titanium carbide (Ti3C2Tx) MXene possesses various unique physicochemical and catalytic properties. However, the electrochemical CO oxidation performance is not yet addressed experimentally. Herein, Ti3C2Tx (TX=OH, O, and F) ordered and exfoliated two-dimensional nanosheets ornamented with semi-spherical pallidum nanoparticles (2.5 Wt. %) with an average diameter of (10±1 nm) (denoted as Pd/Ti3C2Tx) is rationally designed for the electrochemical CO oxidation.

The development of porous bi-metallic Pt-based nanocrystals (NCs) as efficient catalysts for the glucose oxidation reaction (GOR) over a wide pH range is still a grand challenge. Triggered by this challenge, we report the controlled synthesis of porous binary PtPd, PtCu, AuPt, and PtNi NCs with open dendritic frames as efficient catalysts for GOR.
One-Pot Synthesis of PtIr Tripods with Dendritic Surface as Efficient Catalyst for Oxygen Reduction Reaction
Pt-based nanocrystals with dendritic structure are highly attractive materials for various elecrocatalytic applications owing to their high surface area. Herein, a facile one-pot method is presented for controlled synthesis of PtIr tripods with dendritic surface (PtIr DTPs), which is achieved by the reduction of Pt and Ir metallic precursors in oleylamine and NH4F with H2. The unique PtIr DTPs exhibited superior catalytic activity and durability towards the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR).
