Export plan view as image format (to create 'blueprint' style)
I have set my background color as blue, and all pens to white, so my plan displays as an old-style blueprint. Other than taking multiple screenshots and stitching them together, is there a way to Save/Export into, say, PNG/TIFF/JPG/PDF etc, from the plan view (i.e. not from the 3D window)?
True line weight vs Hairline display: not coherent view
I can't give you a full advice since I don't know how you use your pen set. BUt one solution could be to combine two view on the layout. One view, where everything is with thin lince = edit pen set for the view so that all lines are only thin (e.g. 0,08 mm) Second view, where with use of Graphic overrides, cutted parts will have transparent background and and separation lines between materials turned of, Lines thick. Then you can combine it.
No license found for Archicad 26, 27 and 28
Since a few days ago, when trying to access Archicad 26, 27 or 28 a "No license found" window opens. Upon selecting "Manage Licenses" it is confirmed that I do own commercial license for Archicad Studio USA. There are no issues with Archicad 25 and older, as well as Archicad 29 Technology Preview. Could anyone please advise how to resolve this issue?
How to install two versions of archicad 27 on one windows computer
Hi, because the market is bad, I have to work for two companies and each of them use different versions of archicad 27 teamwork (one is version 4030 and the other is 6060). In order to join both teamwork projects, I need both versions of the archicad installed on my computer. But when I open the installer, it keeps saying I have archicad already installed, is there a way to fix this? Why Is My Slab Surface Slanted Even Though Its Orientation Is Set to 0 Degrees?
My slab surface appears slanted even though its surface orientation is set to 0 degrees. What could be causing this? Operating system used: Windows 10 Maybe the slab has its own texture direction? Have you tried to Reseting the textures (menu Document > Creative Imaging > Allgin 3D Texture > Reset) Or maybe you are working with rotated view.
Quantity takeoff for composite elements
Hi i am working with composite elements for a muliti story building its my first project using archicad and i am self-taught so I definitely have a lot to learn. My problem is that i have a composite wall and it consists of concrete, insulation and plaster. The concretes model height is 2.81 m but the other two's height is 3.11 which is also Parent elements (whole wall) height. now i would like to create a component schedule where actual height of skins is shown.
Higher resolution 3d window views on sheets
I'm looking to get higher resolution images on sheeted 3d views when using the generate in 3d Window option. Here are the view settings of my perspective view: The pixel count makes no difference when sheeted as a 3d window - it will only change the size of the images when changed to photorendering. When you sheet the 3d window the size seems to be only affected by how large the window is on your screen when you sheet it.

Curved walls and floor slabs not meeting
Hello, I'm wondering if there is a better way to join these elements to be viewed seamlessly - the floor slab seems to come through in small rectangles, is there a way to avoid this? I've used a magic wand when drawing the slab to ensure it matches the curve of the wall. The reason the floor slab isn't doing the same on the first floor is that I've offset the floor slab to the internal face of the external wall. Any assistance would be great! New community Roadmap - missing Idea pool?
Hi, I've noticed that a conversion of Roadmap from previous website to community is (almost) done? During testing it I've noticed that there is missing section of "Idea pool". Also, many items from previous website are missing. Is this a work in progress state? Will the items be added? MEP Designer - MEP System symbol line
Hi, this is an ongoing problem even form old MEP modeller. Why in MEP System there is not a possibility to select a symbol line and only dashed types? By disabling this, we are forced to not use attribute setting in route settings to be able to use symbol line which then lead to harder and not systematic changes in ongoing projects. Hi, an update is available for technology preview 28 but I could not find what is new and what is fixed. Will there be some article about this? Also, the new function for "frictionless update" is not working at this moment (I had to download install file as in previous versions) Kind regards Karel
Keynotes - favorites
When you place a label with keynote content and want to change its content to another one (EG from Key 1 to Key 2), is there any different way than to replace it with new one? If you select label and try to change it with one from favourites, it will place the "linked" "Keynote to favourite instead of replacing it with other parts. Another case is when I have a level with only the Key, copy this label and want to replace the key with Description of the keynote.
Partial structure display - stair's riser
Hello there, on tech support we got question if it is possible to hide risers and threads on stairs based on partial structure display. In basic archicad library, this is not possible although there is easy way (at least for 3D) how to make this possible. I've tried it based on this post and it works fine. This should be implemented in library so there is no need to set it by the user himself.
Railing as Zone boundary
Hello there! I think it would be great if Railing had option to set it as zone boundary. At this moment if we want to draw a zone for balcony/terrace or anything that is not in closed space we have option to either draw it manually or to draw line/polyline as a zone boundary and place zone after that. But in many cases, railing is in some way used and in many cases is also defining the boundary of this space.
Level dimension - add possibility to show coordinates
Hi, I was helping one user with object "Coordinates". While it correctly shows "X" and "Y" coordinates, the "Z" must be adjusted in some way. Either manually move the object in 3D to its right position or use the function to automatically place the object on the mesh. I was thinking that level dimension could get possibility to show world coordinates (global, relative and based on survey point).
