It’s our time to thrive!
Helping everyone we collaborate with to achieve their aspirations and thrive. Though it may seem simple, our refreshed purpose, vision, and values are at the heart of everything we do. Guided by a vision of loving what we do, being proud of who we are, and having fun along the way, we’ve also built our foundation on core values – fairness, honesty, caring, progressiveness, and humility. These principles shape every decision we make and serve as the conscience of our business.

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve once again been recognised as one of the 2024 UK’s Best Workplaces™ by Great Place to Work® UK! Not just a good but a Great Place to Work!
Director of People, Karen Arch reflects on BHP’s series of Great Place to Work award wins. I’m approaching my first anniversary at BHP and what a first year it has been. When I joined in December 2022, one of my first emails, as I mentioned in a previous blog, was informing me that BHP had received two awards from the global authority on workplace culture, Great Place to Work®. (UK’s Best Workplaces™ and UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™).
BHP continues to invest in future talent with new trainees
We’re delighted to announce that BHP has welcomed a further 44 new trainees. This latest intake is the second highest for BHP’s successful training programme, which provides those looking to break into the finance industry with the chance to gain hands-on experience while studying for a professional qualification. It follows a record-breaking year in 2022, which saw 46 new trainees join the business and underlines BHP’s commitment to continuing to invest in future talent and career development.
Celebrating BHP's workplace achievements
When I joined BHP back in January this year, little did I know what was about to happen. On my first day at work, I received an email to inform me that the firm had been awarded Great Place to Work® certification – what an introduction to my new role as Director of People! Since then, Great Place to Work has recognised BHP one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing and, most recently, we heard the amazing news that BHP is now one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ 2023.
