To the Editor: My husband and I skied Stowe Sunday, Dec. 3. It started as a rainy day, although it turned to snow, and the skiing was quite nice. However, because of the weather, the mountain was totally barren, and the parking lot was empty the several hours we were there during the mid-day. But, because we refuse to pay for parking, we had to shlep it on the shuttle bus.
