What was your first job as a journalist?
I believe it was a Student on Campus poll for my first high school newspaper staff writer assignment.
How is social media changing news?
It is creating and shedding light on stories that otherwise may not have made it to traditional print media, and in real-time too.

Why did you become a journalist?
Early in life, I found out that I had a way with the written word and I wanted to apply my skills to a lifestyle and career.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Yes! The first year I was a Staff Writer and the Assistant Managing Editor and became Managing Editor in my second year.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Read a lot, blog, find stories and inspirations all around you, and sign up for & utilize every social network you can. Don't be scared!
What's your favorite drink?
Mochas.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
At a barre or Pilates studio or watching a Giants game at AT&T Park.
