Karen Haslam’s Biography

Karen Haslam is Managing Editor of Macworld.com, with more than two decades of experience covering Apple. Her career with Apple began in 2000 at the company’s UK PR agency, where she was involved in the launches of Mac OS X and the original iPod before joining Macworld in 2003.

Karen served as editor of the UK Macworld website and magazine until the UK and US websites merged in 2022. She subsequently became Managing Editor of the international Macworld.com website.

Career highlights include interviewing Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and discussing Steve Jobs’ legacy on the BBC. Today, much of her work focuses on managing freelancers, editing buying guides, and writing tutorials and product recommendations, while ensuring Macworld follows best practices for SEO, AI optimization (AIO), and affiliate content.
