Letter to the editor | Stop complaining, start working
I don’t understand why some people complain about the economy. It has been this way for years. The economy is better when people are working. So why aren’t they working? Every time I go shopping, I see employment signs on the doors. There is no reason why people can’t go in and apply. This sounds like laziness, and I can’t believe they can afford to not work. This is a big problem. The money is going to everyone but the people who really need it. I can understand the people who worked during COVID-19.
Letter to the editor | Don't be afraid, trust your gut when voting
Next week, we vote. Go out and vote using your gut feelings and who you trust to make this a better world. This year, do a repeat performance of everyone getting out to vote. This was amazing on your part. During this time, we lost our beloved Queen Elizabeth, an amazing lady who reigned for 70 years, which was amazing. She had charm, was kind, diplomatic and a good listener who cared for all people. This is what we need in our leaders. Karen Layton Johnstown
Letter to the editor | Passengers keep buses running
It’s way past time for CamTran to do something for the passengers who keep the buses running. Most of us like shopping and going to doctor’s at the same time. The biggest problem is the schedules. They need to run buses every hour – not one and a half hours or two and a half hours. This is so wrong. Why do we need to wait that long? And we can’t afford a taxi. During COVID-19, they could have installed baby changers, self-flushing toilets and replaced sanitizers. Time to take action on this.

Letter to the editor | Give Biden a chance to solve problems
I can’t believe these Republican supporters are still trying to get Donald Trump back in office. The American people voted him out (fired, overridden and booted out the door). Glad Mike Pence came to his senses and broke loose. Why is Donald Trump allowed to run around campaigning when he can’t get in? Something needs to be done now and in a hurry before he pulls more antics. Guard the White House and fence it back up. No one, even foreign leaders, wants to deal with him.
