Karla Gutierrez’s Biography

I am currently full-time student at Long Beach State. I am a student journalist for the Daily 49er. I have witten for DIG Magazine en Español and The Renegade Rip. She interned in Spring 2020 term for 22 West Media as a broadcast intern.

I'm currently seeking for any opportunity in the broadcast journalism field. I'm willing to intern and gain any experience that I can. I'm hardworking and dedicated when a story is assigned to me.

I won an award from California College Media Association in "Arts and Entertainment" in Spring 2018. I, also, received the Danny O'Neil award from department of Journalism in Spring 2018.

I graduated in May 2019 from Bakersfield College getting my degree of Associate in Arts in Journalism for transfer, as well as, my degree of Associate in Arts in Liberal Arts.
