I went to a performing arts high school, so we didn't have a newspaper. Many of us were too busy competing for attention on stage...

My multi-angled coverage of underground refugee claimant Alvaro Orozco & his journey from potential deportation to legal residency in Canada.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Surround yourself with amazing people. When someone gives you a shot, give them greatness. File on time—but if you are running late, SAY SO.
