What was your first job as a journalist?
As a voluntary role it was culture editor and for an online student arts magazine. My first paid role was doing social media copywriting.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
As a child yes, but I'd love to have one now!
What's your favorite social network?
Instagram - for it's community, for the images and for the creativity it encourages.
Who do you wish followed you?
Emma Thompson - my love for her and her work is deep and enduring!
Why did you become a journalist?
I've always loved writing and I wanted to build a flexible and varied career.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Yes - contributing writer, subeditor and layout.
What's your favorite drink?
Tea. All day, every day.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
At the piano, at the dance studio or baking!
