Abstract This study sought to compare in vivo sex differences in either a Th1-dominant CTL response or a Tfh-mediated lupus-like antibody response using the parent-into F1 murine model of acute or chronic GVHD respectively. In acute GVHD we observed no significant sex differences in the hierarchy of donor CD8 CTL elimination of splenocyte subsets. B cells were the most sensitive to elimination in both sexes; however, the male response was significantly stronger.
