Why did you become a journalist?

Originally I went into advertising...that was enough to consider actual writing or to become a journalist.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

I wrote about the student council, edited other writer's content, and formatted the paper

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

I wrote a story about a family sending money back to their family in another country who wasn't able to leave...it was heartbreaking.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Do your research, learn to write well, stay on top of news, read, tell the truth, gain a following, be smart with your time.
