Luke Litter To Play First Day Of The 2026 World Darts Championship
The 2026 PDC World Darts Championship is almost here, all 128 players have been confirmed, the draw has been announced and all players are aiming for one thing, to be crowned 2026 World Darts Champion. The winner will earn the biggest amount of prize money ever offered at £1 Million. However, one player that has stood out among the rest, coming to defend his title is world number one Luke Littler. Who is Luke Littler?
Art Gallery of Western Australia
Looking for something to do for the whole family for free? Then look no further than the Art Gallery of Western Australia, where there are lots of different exhibits, plus things for kids to do, including an interactive space that older kids and teens are able to get involved in. At the moment, and until the end of July, you can see an incredible exhibit called Star Machine, by Al Qasimi in her first Australian exhibit, you can see some beautiful and evocative pieces.
Caversham Wildlife Park
Tucked within Whiteman Park in the Swan Valley about half an hour's drive from Perth is the Caversham Wildlife Park. Having no clear memory of ever having visited when I was growing up in Perth (it was much smaller and located elsewhere), I was looking forward to finally visiting the park in its Whiteman Park location. As a full day out it's a great one as you have the option of taking in the animals at Caversham then exploring Whiteman Park as well.
Caversham Wildlife Park
Get up close with your furry and feathered friends. Caversham is situated out in Whiteman Park and an easy drive from Perth or Fremantle. However I would not suggest taking the bus as it is a very long walk to the park entrance from the bus stop! The park has multiple attractions, including a walk-in kangaroo enclosure, sheep sheering and a koala pen, giving ample photo opportunities and up close interactions.
Scarborough Beach
Perth has got plenty of beaches, and perhaps once you've seen one beach you've seen them all, but I feel maybe that isn't the case. Scarborough Beach can be reached using the bus route 400 from Stirling station. It was the second beach I've visited since arriving in Perth, the first being at Fremantle, and has been one of the most pleasant lazy days I've had so far.
