Hi there! I’m Katie, a dedicated writer with a passion for sharing the human side of news reporting and journalism.

I work full-time for the American Osteopathic Association where I serve as an editor for our online magazine, The DO. I am also a freelance journalist for The Lansing Journal.

I recently received my Master of Arts degree from Governors State University, and graduated with a 4.0! I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Xavier University, where I majored in English and minored in writing. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from SXU in 2015.
