Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes! Sadly I'm old enough to remember the days of ink ribbons and stuck keys. I WAS at school though - I've never used on in y career.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
I adore Olivia Joules - she's freelance like me and seems to attract trouble...
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
My trusty Mac Air and good old Microsoft Office. And I always keep a dic handy. Snigger.
What's your favorite social network?
Twitter is my favourite social network because I think it's much more honest than Facebook or Instagram. Its more raw.
Who do you wish followed you?
Will Friedle who played Eric Matthew in Boy Meets World. He was my teen crush, so that would be pretty awesome.
Why did you become a journalist?
I love people and believe every single person has a story to tell. I'm also a total soap junkie so my current role suits me perfectly.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I visited Sierra Leone a few years ago and wrote a story about a young girl who had been mutilated in the civil war.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Read, read, read. Read everything you can get your hands on. And ask yourself 'is there a story here?' about everything.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Any time! I'm always checking my email - which is probably not my best habit...

Erm...wine :)
