Breakfast Food Find
I woke up on Sunday feeling refreshed and ready for the day. Since it was the weekend, I thought to myself, "Why not take advantage of the leisurely morning hours?" Instead of my usual eggs and toast, I decided to try one of the nearby breakfast shops. These spots are a popular choice for early risers. Despite these breakfast stores, I have to admit, I'm not in the habit of eating breakfast out. Eating at home in the morning is my favorite.

Photography | Culture | Nostalgia Six word photo story: freestyle Watching The Ellen Show brought plenty of laughter, especially from people's reactions. The Colorful Stunt
“Unbelievable! Someone street artist named Banksy has made millions for his artworks without even revealing his real identity,” said Janine in disbelief! “Do you mean that insane artist who shredded Girl with Balloon after it was sold in an auction for 1.4 million dollars? It was his master plan! He designed a thingamajig hidden in the frame to eat up the painting slowly,” explained Franz. “Enough talk! Let’s get to work! I am going to demonstrate how my next artwork is made.

Can it be ironic to say that I don’t drink beer, but I almost brewed beer?! That was also what I told a guy I met quite some time ago. Devouring Cuteness
Normally, going bigger is better. Undoubtedly, one needs a larger wallet to purchase items in bulk. Contrary to this belief, the mini version of the watermelon costs a lot more than one might expect. Looking at the price tag, this mini watermelon costs four times as much as a normal-sized watermelon. What I mean by this is that the normal-sized watermelon would be four times larger than what I’m holding in my hand. The Japanese love everything in bite-sized portions.
The Glitter in My Lemonade
This early June, I had an unforgettable love affair. Every week, I would gleefully show up at Starbucks, beaming at the barista. He’d look at me and ask what I’d like to order. Without hesitation, I’d reply, “I want this,” pointing to the bright yellow drink on display in the poster. Its name was far too long in any language: Kiwi Passionfruit with Glitter Pop Lemonade, Starbucks Refreshers Beverage. Hence my brief reply. I still remember that day vividly. The scorching heat was unbearable.

If you haven’t heard of night markets in Asia, then you’re probably missing out on the distinct street foods available. Night markets offer drinks, snacks, and an assortment of dishes at affordable prices compared to restaurants — that is, if your stomach can handle the mix. If you have a fondness for new food finds, you’ll probably gain a couple of pounds overnight after a round at the night market, unless you have a weak tolerance for new foods like me.
Ghostly White Is Supposed to Be a Compliment, or So I Thought
Ghostly White Is Supposed to Be a Compliment, or So I Thought In the concept of beauty in Asian culture, the desire for porcelain white skin is the ultimate goal for women and men, which is why Korean cosmetics have become such a trend with their beauty products and makeup lines. Friend: No, I mean you look ghostly white.

1. Are you an early bird or a night owl? I must confess that I’m neither. I would rather be a night owl, but my brain tells me I should be an early bird. No matter how early I wake up to go exercise, people always seem to be headed in the opposite direction — home from their morning workout. 2. What is your favorite sport to watch? This one varies ever so often. For this year’s summer Olympics, I enjoyed breaking. Once FIFA World Cup starts, I’m going back to soccer ⚽️ or should I say le football.

"I'm so excited for the Paris, Olympics," exclaimed Tess. " I've never thought you were a sports lover until now," piped Carl. I've been interested ever since breaking had been introduced at the Youth Olympic Games in 2018. This year in Paris 2024, it'll be the only new sport. With 16 B-Boys and 16 B-Girls battling it out for the medals, this will be the coolest modern sport ever. They're truly amazing athletes that are worth the Olympic honor. 1. Do you use self-checkout in stores? Why or why not? I love self-checkouts. It's fun doing the scanning and beeping my way through the items. Making the purchase is a lot more enjoyable when I don't have to wait in line. I appreciate having the cashier, but sometimes the customers in front of me take too long with their bulk purchases and their questions. 2. What is your favorite fast-food restaurant? I would go for Mos Burger. I am not much a fan of any fast food though.

CLOCKWISE OR COUNTER-CLOCKWISE Natto‘s secret number Since the days of Japan’s Edo Era, natto — fermented soybeans — has been a staple in Japanese daily meals. Nowadays, you can often find it in the freezer section of Japanese supermarkets or convenience stores. Due to its distinctive smell and acquired taste, there’s a clear “love or hate” reaction after the first try. Natto has a sticky consistency, but achieving the ultimate texture requires remembering the secret number: 424.
A Princess with Style
FROM FICTION TO REALITY Who would you be? Springing to March, Deanna Bugalski poses us a curious question: If you could walk in anyone else’s shoes for a day, who would it be and why? It could be someone fictional, famous, someone you know, or have observed from afar. This question presents quite the challenge because we have the opportunity to step into anyone’s shoes. However, I’m not entirely sure if a single day would suffice because the plot of many stories unfolds in numerous days.

Coffee talk Meeting people Spending a beautiful sunny day at a local bakery outdoors is highly recommended, especially if one finds a place decorated with a couple of patio chairs and a large wooden table.
