No, but I'd love to! My neighbor had one when I was a child, but I never got to use it.

It's more rapid and easily accessible, but it is also increasingly unreliable.

What does it mean to be a journalist?
You're a storyteller, a microphone for people to tell their stories in their own voices.

I'm a Google and Microsoft girl, simple and reliable.

Why did you become a journalist?
I am on a mission to rewrite the African narrative into one that both current and future generations will be proud to read.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Nope, I had already started writing poetry and stories by then though.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
We are not rocks. Women have been through a lot, I am honored to get to play a role in educating them (and their oppressors) on their rights.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Write about things that you care about. You can learn everything else. Just make sure that you pick a field of journalism that you relate to.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Late afternoon or early evening, then I'm definitely on my phone.
What's the best pitch you ever got?
"Should lac live matter to South Africans" a definite "Konversation" starter!
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
I was asked to write about something I didn't agree with. Needless to say, I turned it down. Although the money was good, I had to be honest.
What's your favorite drink?
A good Chai Latte
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Talking to people, eating/cooking or sleeping hahaha
