What was your first job as a journalist?

My first published article came from a story that I did for extra credit in my first journalism class. It was an editorial on cell phones.

Who do you wish followed you?

There are so many journalists that i wish followed me. Here are a few: Don Lemon, Christopher Cuomo, Joi-Marie Mckenzie Lewis + Laura Coates.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

When I was a sophomore at Clark Atlanta University, I wrote the article that I am most proud of writing, which focused on sexual assault.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

I would say to believe in yourself. It is easy to doubt who you are and your talent. Know who you are and believe in your abilities.
