Riviera: The Promised Land
The Good Riviera is full of dichotomies. It is certainly a very well done game, but it has its quirks. This is only my second console RPG game -- my background is decades of PC and tabletop RPGing -- and I have to say I enjoyed most of it. To start with some of game's positive aspects, the most obvious area is the interpretation of character advancement.
Dead or Alive 4 (2005) - MobyGames
The Good As a launch game, Dead Or Alive 4, is good showcase for the raw power that is, the Xbox 360. Now that some time has passed since launch, and other fighting games have emerged, namely Virtua Fighter 5. Does DOA 4 still hold up? The plot in DOA is B-movie bad. Yet somehow remains entertainingly so. Here’s the rundown: Helena, of the previous DOA games, is now the sole heir of the DOATEC organization. As she struggles to put the pieces back together, the twisted Prof.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker
In Monsters: Joker, you play an aspiring monster tournament competitor. The goal is to recruit and train a team of monsters powerful enough to win the Monster Tournament of the Granpool Archipelago. The game uses the same combat engine as Dragon Quest VIII, turn-based where commands are issued, and then the game shows the results in 3D. There are many monsters spread over 8 families so it is up to the player to find a combination that takes into account the strengths and weaknesses of the monsters.
Wing Island (2006) - MobyGames
On an island chain populated by man sized, humanoid birds, Wing Island follows the exploits of one Sparrow Wing Jr. and his friends. The challenges they face range from timed cargo delivery, obstacle courses as well as races as well as stunts for both solo and multiple aircraft formations. The game also has a repertoire of multiplayer minigames. Control of the aircraft is accomplished solely with the Wiimote, allowing barrel rolls and sharp turns without additional button pressing.
Elebits (2006) - MobyGames
A combination of the words 'electricity' and 'bits', the elebits are an important part of how the world runs in this game's universe. However it seems they have vanished or gone on strike. Therefore it is the player's job to control a ten year old boy named Kai to use the Wii Remote as a zapper physics gun and uncover the hidden elebits.
Wii Fit (2007) - MobyGames
From famed Nintendo game designer Shigeru Miyamoto, Wii Fit is a take on combining fitness with entertainment. The Wii Balance Board designed specifically for Wii Fit comes with the game. The Balance Board is used for measuring weight as well as the user's center of gravity for a number of exercises and games.

GoldenEye: Rogue Agent
Players Average score: 3.1 out of 5 (based on 36 ratings with 8 reviews) A game that had potential but didn't make the cut.... The Good In GoldenEye: Rouge Agent, you are a MI6 agent working with James Bond. In the first level you infiltrate Goldfinger's Fort Knox. Your helicopter crashes into Fort Knox and somehow you manage to escape the helicopter but Bond stays in the helicopter. When you begin the actual level Bond is hanging on to the helicopters right wing.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
The Good In 2006, Nintendo finally unleashed their latest console on the public, with strong first party support at launch. Of course, everyone got to play Wii Sports, but after everyone was all done swinging, batting, and hitting invisible objects with their newfangled controllers, only two critically acclaimed titles remained on the shelf. One of them was The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
Red Steel (2006) - MobyGames
The Good Red Steel's abundant strengths outweigh its glaring weakness. It is easy to judge this game based on its awful presentation, but Red Steel is essentially an hours-long Time Crisis with all of the strategic ducking and vibrant locations, but none of the time limits, cheezy multi-hit bosses or anti-climactic vehicular mayhem. This is the game I dreamt of when I first opened Time Crisis 2 on PS2 and the Guncon2 had a wee little d-pad on the back just begging to be used in a FPS.
