Interview

What does it mean to be a journalist?

To inform readers in a way that offers them something unique and worth their valuable time. No fluff, just content that they actually want.

What's your favorite social network?

Life. I'm a weird tech journalist who likes to step away from tech and enjoy spending time with people out in the real world.

Who do you wish followed you?

Jimmy Carr, if I can make him laugh, then I've paid him back for all the times he's made my day.

Why did you become a journalist?

I play games a lot. And I use way to much tech. So, why not spread that infectious enthusiasm for similarly minded readers.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

My crime comedy. Although how proud I am depends on how well it turns out in the end.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Be yourself. Readers don't want copy pasted, or ai garbage. Give them content which is uniquely yours, in that tone that only you can offer.

What's the worst pitch you ever got?

I can't be bothered to pitch. I'll pay you $10 to pitch for me.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Wait, freelancers are allowed to step away from their computers? Seriously, can anybody confirm this?
