Keisha Rowe’s Biography

I entered the field of professional journalism by interning at Dayton Daily News in Dayton, OH during the summer between 2000-2004, where I focused on several different areas, including business, Sinclair Community College and lifestyles.

I was also part of the staff at my college newspaper, the University of Evansville Crescent, holding roles encompassing all aspects of the industry, including both News and Lifestyles Editor. During that time, I won an award for Best Investigative Journalism from the Indiana Collegiate Press Association in 2001.

I returned to the Dayton Daily News as a staff member of one of their satellite papers, the Springfield News-Sun, in September 2017. I stayed with Cox Media Group until 2019, when I joined Gannett as a digital producer. I became a breaking news and general assignment reported in August 2020.
