What was your first job as a journalist?
At 16 years old I was hired to write sports for the local newspaper.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes. I learned to type on a mechanical typewriter.
How is social media changing news?
News and idea exchange is happening much faster.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
Freedom to inform, freedom to offend, freedom to travel and tell others

Anthony Bourdain and Christopher Hitchens. Sadly, it's a bit too late for that though.
Why did you become a journalist?
Writing is enlightening for the reader and the writer.

I was the Editor of my high school newspaper.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Recently: A story of an occupational therapist who was fired by the hospital for spreading COVID misinformation to her patients.
