What was your first job as a journalist?
Davison Television (DTV), my high school's broadcast station. I was a reporter and anchor for a daily 20-minute newscast.
What's your favorite social network?
Twitter - you have a chance to talk to your favorite reporters and big players in the journalism biz.
Why did you become a journalist?
As cliche as it might sound, to keep the public informed, make a difference, and raise awareness about issues they need to know about.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
This career isn't for the light hearted. It takes dedication, drive, hard work, sleeplessness, and putting your heart into it.
