Yes! I still have my mom’s electric typewriter.

Most recently? Camille Preaker from Gillian Flynn’s “Sharp Objects”. She’s deeply human, and I just really love Gillian Flynn.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
We didn’t have a school paper, so no. There wasn’t enough to report on, I’m guessing.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
How Cultural History and Trauma Shape Our Fears in Film. It’s a topic that generally fascinates me, and I really enjoyed writing it.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
On my couch, with my cat or my dog, watching a movie I’ve already seen 9 times (but I just need to watch it again).
