The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines [23] informed the design and execution of this study. The protocol was registered on PROSPERO (CRD42023388254). Medline/PubMed, Embase and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CENTRAL) were searched from inception to 20 December 2022 for eligible studies with keywords related to Covid-19 and ROX index.
