Social Media is making news widely available but at the same time it causing people to panic in situations that don't call for it.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
I honestly don't have a personal favorite, I'd say me.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
The goal is to inform the masses by getting deeply researched information that's appealing to all, and that holds truths from both sides.
What's the funniest news-related #hashtag you've seen?
but taking it there gets you blackballed and/or overlooked!
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
As a human.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
We used an online database which happened to be our school's website and we also used Adobe software, such as photoshop and premiere.

LInked-In everybody cheering each other on, yet no one really is truly helping persay.

Why did you become a journalist?
It was a lifelong passion of mine to do something in either public relations, communications, or marketing; however the barrier of entry.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I was the writer and the editor.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Anything about food and lifestyle.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty but hold integrity and grit!

Early morning or afternoon.

Again, I am switching sides.

I am transitioning from the PR side to the journalism side, so It'd be the first time for me.
What's your favorite drink?
I like a good protein shake with fresh fruit and veggies inside it.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Inside of my phone, waiting for the computer to charge up!
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
GQ will always be a favorite of mine and the National Geographic is always something that'll grind your educational gears.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
You have to have a huge publication backing you when in reality you don't necessarily need that if you have the tools to do so.
